John Bryant has set up this trip for March 1-5, 2000.

This from John . . . . If you have never been on this trip with me, you have missed some good times.  If you have gone before, you will see some nice changes.  We will dive with the Manatee at Crystal River (or the Homosassa River) and spend two days diving the clear waters of north Florida’s fresh water springs.  Every diver will receive a PADI Manatee Diver specialty certification card after a short classroom session and a dive with the Manatee on Saturday.  For a student diver doing his or her training dives, this is the perfect trip; easy entries, no current, clear water and shallow depths – PERFECT.  For the experienced diver, it is a great tune-up for the up coming diving season.  We will spend ours nights in Gainesville where there should be more to do than in Lake City where we have stayed before.

Cavern Diver Class: I have received several requests for a Cavern class.  If you have an interest in Cave Diving, this is the first step.  If you simply want to be a more knowledgeable and skilled cavern diver, this is the class to take.  I am not certified to teach the class, so I have made arrangements with Bill Dooley, a professional cave and cavern dive instructor (used to own Fantasy Scuba in Lexington), to teach a course for my people.  The class will require nearly two full days to complete.  Students will need to travel to Florida one day early.  There will be a classroom and two dives on Wednesday and again on Friday.  The fee includes books, classroom sessions, entries to the dive sites, use of safety reels, regulator accessories and certification cards.  Also included in the price is the motel expense for the extra night.  A minimum of four people must take the class to get the price quoted.  Class size is absolutely limited to six, so let me know ASAP.

Advanced Open Water Class: An introduction to five specialty courses.  We will do DEEP, NIGHT, UNDERWATER NAVIGATION, MANATEE DIVER, and CAVERN DIVER.  It will be necessary to travel to Florida one day early, this class will begin on Wednesday morning. Fee includes book, classroom, Open Water Training, certification card, and the extra night in the motel.

Call John for additional information or to sign up.
