Please Note: Full payment ($20 per person per day for placement on the pontoon boat) is required for this trip.  Your reservation will not be accepted until the Treasurer has received trip payment.  Pontoon boat capacity is 12 persons.  Submit your reservation form (electronic) and payment to secure a spot on the boat.  Please mail your deposit to:

Payment Schedule:

No additional payments necessary

Costs:

$20 per person per day for pontoon usage.  This is a non-refundable fee.  Individuals bringing their own boat DO NOT need to pay, but do need to submit the reservation form.

Accommodations:

Camping:

Dale Hollow State Park Campground Loop L (001 or 003) and Loop K (006, 007 & 008)

Cabins:

Six cabins are available at Dale Hollow State Park Campground.

Lodge: Mary Ray Oaken Lodge (State Park lodge)

Dive Operator:

None! This is a BYOA (Bring Your Own Air) and gear event. Equipment (tanks, weights, etc.) can be rented from at Dean's Divers Den in Somerset (606-561-4536). Be aware of their hours of operation for pick-up/drop-off. Or you can rent from New Horizons Dive Shop in Lexington (859-277-1234).

Transportation:

You are on your own for transportation.  The reservation form will prompt you for information about carpooling.

 Saturday July 22nd

LOADING & SAFETY BRIEFING (9:00a CDT)

Be at the Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park Marina (not the boat dock). Please note there is a time difference from Lexington.  Park and find a wheeled cart to load your gear onto the boat. We'll have a short boat/safety walk through with the rental folks, then we'll depart by 9:30 CDT.

RELAX ON THE LAKE

Dive, swim, float, eat, relax on the lake. Bring your own lunch, beverages, snacks, etc. (Space is limited for coolers, please bring only small coolers). We stay on the water until the group is ready to leave. If you need to depart early, we can give you a lift back to the dock.

POTLUCK SUPPER

DFor those staying over, plan on bringing a dish to serve 10. Bring whatever you need to heat/serve your dish. Don't forget your beverages and lawn chairs.

BGDC Activity
Waiver Required:

Dive Activity Waiver is now an integral part of the reservation form.  You must agree to the waiver in order to submit your reservation.  To review click here ===>

Reservation form and payment must be received by June 23rd, 2017.   

Maximum capacity of 12 people on the 10 x 30 double decker pontoon boat.  The BGDC has reserved ONE pontoon boat.  If trip sign-ups exceed the boat capacity, another pontoon boat will be reserved IF IT IS AVAILABLE.  So, please sign up now to ensure you have a spot on the boat. 

A COMPLETE sign-up includes:  current membership (or guest of current member that is participating), completed reservation form, and trip payment.

Notes:

Notes:  This is great trip for divers and non-divers.  We will have our tremendous fun pot-luck dinner on Saturday evening. More details, suggestions and sign-ups will be emailed to participants prior to trip. Everyone works up quite an appetite on the water all day.  Please compress/pack your boat gear for easy storage and handling.
