The Bluegrass Dive Club has a dive trip to the Iberostar Waves Cozumel Resort on Cozumel, Mexico. The dive operation, Dressel Divers, is located at the resort. This is an all-inclusive resort.
Cozumel is located in the state of Quintana Roo by the Caribbean Sea, about 10 miles off the eastern coast of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It is directly across the water from Playa del Carmen. Fly into Cozumel International airport (CZM).
The island is about 29 miles from northeast to southwest and averages 9 miles in width. Cozumel is the largest of Mexico’s inhabited islands. San Miguel is the only main town. The majority of the island is undeveloped.
Trip Registration is OPEN. We recommend NOT purchasing airfare until you have a confirmed reservation on the trip.

Accomodations & Rates

Your club has reserved 3 of the Premium rooms and 7 of the Premium Near Pool rooms. We will advise if our reserved block of rooms fill up and subsequent registrations will be pending confirmation of your room booking with the resort. Regarding other room types, see the steps below.
- Please select either a Premium or Near Pool room first, because that is what we have reserved and available at this time.
- If you desire an upgrade to another room type, please put that in the “Comment” section of the Trip Registration.
- We will “Wait List” you for your upgraded room request and advise if or when it becomes available.
- Upgraded room requests will be processed based on the order that your completed trip registration and deposit payment are received.
You must be a current paid member of the BGDC to register for this trip. Membership dues can be paid as part of your trip registration. You are also required to be a current dues paid member in 2025 when the trip departs. 2025 dues rate have not been set yet and are payable at a later date.

We urge trip registrants to make rooming sharing arrangements themselves. The club will attempt to match up registrants for double occupancy, if they do not have prior arrangements for sharing.

Club Trip Rebates
The Bluegrass Dive Club has a policy and successful history of returning dive discounts in the form of post trip rebates to our trip participants on a pro rata share based upon each participants specific booking. Trip rebates are not guaranteed and based upon meeting requirements of our contract with the resort. These rebates come from commissions and comps, which are earned by the club. Our only promise is that any rebates are calculated in a fair and equitable way. The club Bylaws, Article XI. Compensation, Section 1.B. govern our rebates program.
