4/9/2024 Club Meeting (ZOOM Only), Return To Monthly Meetings, and Atlantic Coast of Florida Diving

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, 4/9/2024 via ZOOM Only. Social time begins at 7:00PM EDT and the meeting begins at 7:30PM EDT. We could not reserve our meeting room for this date in April.

At the club meeting on 3/12/2024 your club voted to return to monthly regular meetings.

Meetings will be In-Person for the rest of 2024 on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Roosters Restaurant at 2640 Richmond Rd. in Lexington, Kentucky.

Reschedule Proposed May 2024 Trip To Dominica

BGDC members,

Unfortunately the board has decided not to offer a May 2024 trip to Dominica this year. There were multiple factors leading to this decision and I apologize for getting everyone’s hopes up. This Dominica trip is not canceled, but instead is being postponed to allow for ample time to plan and obtain reliable and lower cost flight itineraries. My hope is to have trips planned for next spring prior to executive board elections (November 2024) so that we do not end up with this same problem next year.

Look for this trip to show up for February 2025. If you have a specific week that is better for you, let me know at TripDirector@BluegrassDiveClub.com or with the Contact Us page.

Dive Committee meeting on 2/12/24

Your Club’s Dive Committee will be meeting via ZOOM on 2/12/2024 at 8:00PM EST. If you have interest in being a part of the Dive Committee please join the meeting.

If you have ideas or suggestions on dive trip destinations or when on the calendar you would like to travel, please forward your ideas to the club’s Trip Director, Natasha Bowers, at TripDirector@BluegrassDiveClub.com. Provide as many specifics for your dive trip ideas as possible, destination, resort, dive operator, dates, reason why there. The more information, the better able the Trip Director will be to gather information for Committee discussion and trip planning.

Program: Dive Club Trip Down Memory Lane
Our program will be a participatory trip down memory lane. We will show a list of the club’s dive trips throughout the years and pause for members to offer a fond memory of the trip or the divers who went. This should truly be a great opportunity to ask the questions about where we would like to visit again or maybe a new location for an upcoming trip.
