The Bluegrass Dive Club has a dive trip and is returning to Anthony’s Key Resort on the island of Roatan, Honduras. The club last visited this resort and Roatan in September of 2015. There have been several club members and friends of the late Doug Geddes who made trips to Roatan since 2015 to visit Doug and Susan in their retirement home and enjoy their hospitality and let them share their diver’s paradise. The club plans to dive on the Doug Geddes memorial dive site, Doug’s Dream during this trip. New at AKR since 2015, AKR Ankor Seafood Grill on the waterfront.

Accomodations & Rates
As of 4/13/2023 we have 8 divers registered for this trip. You are urged to sign up now and reserve your spot. All registrations are on a space available basis and subject to the club confirming that your bungalow is available. Please confirm registration and room booking before purchasing airfare.
Initial deposit required of $300 per registrant is non-refundable and non-transferable to another trip upon confirmation of your room booking with the resort. If necessary, you may find another person to take your registered spot before June 26, 2023.
You must be a 2023 current paid member of the BGDC to register for this trip. Membership dues can be paid as part of your trip registration.

We urge trip registrants to make rooming sharing arrangements themselves. The club will attempt to match up registrants for their double occupancy, if they do not have prior arrangements for sharing.
The Bluegrass Dive Club has a policy and successful history of returning dive discounts in the form of post trip rebates to our trip participants on a pro rata share based upon each participants specific booking. Trip rebates are not guaranteed and based upon meeting requirements of our contract with the resort. These rebates come from commissions and comps, which are earned by the club. Our only promise is that any rebates are calculated in a fair and equitable way. The club Bylaws, Article XI. Compensation, Section 1.B. govern our rebates program.
