These are common questions asked about upcoming club trips. Here is how you can find out.

Go to the club website https://BluegrassDiveClub.com
Or if you have already booked a trip https://BluegrassDiveClub.WeTravel.com/

Then follow these simple picture instructions. Click on “Upcoming Trips”.

Click “Details” for the trip you are interested in.

How many rooms are reserved and how many are booked?

How many rooms are available?

Click on “See Availability” or on the trip page you can scroll to the bottom for a slightly different view with availability (no example given for the bottom of trip page view).

From here you can see how many of each package is still available in “real time”. Since most trips are priced based upon double occupancy, we do each “package” per person.

  • 1″Single Occ” package = 1 room
  • 2 “Double Occ” packages = 1 room
  • If you book 1 “Double Occ” package, you are either designating a roommate or willing to accept one.
  • In example below “Garden / Koi Bure – Double Occ – Diver” shows “6 left”, which is 3 rooms. If it shows “5 left”, then there is 1 individual waiting on a roommate, possibly you.
  • Booking package and occupancy can be changed after initial booking, based upon availability.
  • Use the “Additional Info & Special Request” section to let us know what you are planning or need.

Want to go on the trip, but want to book a package that is “sold out”?

  • Go ahead and book your 2nd favorite package and complete your registration and booking, including payment of your deposit or required payment.
  • Come back to the trip page and then click to add you or your party to the “Join Waitlist”. Be sure to let us know in the “Notes” section that you have already booked and if this Waitlist request is a swap for your existing booking or in addition to your existing booking.

Have a question about a trip?

Use the “Ask a Question” button or if you have already booked, when managing your booking on BluegrassDiveClub.WeTravel.com there is a “Message Organizer” button. Using these message channels allows your Club’s Trip Director, Treasurer, and Webmaster to all see your question and get you a response faster. Plus your question and its answer are visible for the trip organizers.

The Bluegrass Dive Club is seeking interested members to join our Dive Committee. The Trip Director is working on trip planning and needs a committee to provide trip ideas and feedback. The committee will be limited to about 6 people. Currently there are 0 members. This is your chance to shape the future of BGDC travel. The time commitment will be limited to periodic Zoom meetings and whatever time you spend on researching a dive trip destination (which you were going to do anyway).
