The Bluegrass Dive Club has a dive trip to the Iberostar Waves Cozumel Resort on Cozumel, Mexico. The dive operation, Dressel Divers, is located at the resort. This is an all-inclusive resort.
Cozumel is located in the state of Quintana Roo by the Caribbean Sea, about 10 miles off the eastern coast of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It is directly across the water from Playa del Carmen. Fly into Cozumel International airport (CZM).
The island is about 29 miles from northeast to southwest and averages 9 miles in width. Cozumel is the largest of Mexico’s inhabited islands. San Miguel is the only main town. The majority of the island is undeveloped.

The Bluegrass Dive Club has a dive trip and is returning to the Fort Young Hotel on the island nation of Dominica. The club last visited this resort and Dominica in February of 2017. The dive operation is located at the hotel. Buddy Dive the former diver operation has been replaced by Fort Young Dive and their two custom built dive boats.
Just 400 miles off the coast of Puerto Rico and situated between the islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique lies Dominica. The island is of volcanic formation and has mountain ranges that span from one end of the island to the other. The jungle typography will blow you away.
Below ground, you will find some of the healthiest reef systems in the Caribbean. The waters are calm and are home to a diverse set of landscapes that feature fumaroles, high walls and natural hot springs.
Dominica is an excellent destination for scuba diving enthusiasts. The island’s unique location in the Caribbean Sea and its volcanic geology make it a fascinating place to explore underwater.
Two of the most popular dive sites include L’Abym which has a steep wall and submerged volcanic crater and Champagne Reef, where divers can experience the sensation of swimming through a sparkling sea of bubbles created by volcanic activity.
With its warm Caribbean waters, fascinating underwater landscape and diverse marine life, scuba diving in Dominica is a truly unforgettable experience.
